Her career spans major stages and collaborations, having worked with iconic artists like Beyoncé and Katy Perry, as well as with top brands. With her energetic and seamless mixes, DJ Miss Milan has built a reputation as one of the industry's most sought-after DJs, making global waves; the Fairy VibeMother is a brand that provides vibes worldwide. 

Miss Milan's belief in being limitless has led her to expand to the executive side of music from DJ to becoming a credited producer on Doechii's Alligator Bites Never Heal mixtape, which won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammys and landed her a part of what Billboard considers the best performance of the night. Playing a vital role in shaping the electrifying performances and ensuring every show is a seamless blend of energy and artistry, her keen co-musical direction and meticulous tour arrangements have made her a cold force behind the scenes, elevating performances with innovative sets and flawless execution. Whether curating the perfect vibe or co-creating the musical direction, Miss Milan is becoming a pivotal player in the music world. IN THE BEGINNING ….

Hailing from New York City by way of being born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, DJ Miss Milan embodies the grit and essence of New York. With parents from Barbados and Guyana, her upbringing shaped her sound—a blend of hip-hop, R&B, classic house, and eccentric sounds mixed with her Caribbean roots create a cultural tapestry as the foundation of her DJing style, where she bridges genres and creates a vibe that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

Milan's journey into music began with dreams of becoming a performer since she was a child, but the growing pains of life deterred her from pursuing it. It was through discovering DJing that she reconnected with her passion, realizing she could express herself as a selector and performer. From working to support her dream, in 2017, Milan took a leap of faith by quitting her job and working towards creating her version of the American dream. Milan first gained recognition by championing & spinning for upcoming talents such as Connie Diiamond and Justine Skye, also through mixtapes and playlist curation for platforms like Audiomack; all led to her early work as Saweetie's DJ during the Icy Girl era in 2018 until 2023.

Connecting with upcoming artist Doechii in 2020 before her signing to TDE, DJ Miss Milan and Doechii built a strong sisterhood and partnership that has only grown over time. Their musical sisterhood earned Milan production credits on Doechii's mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal and contributed to their journey of becoming Grammy-nominated performers and official winners. Together, they have graced major stages worldwide and delivered unforgettable performances, earning nominations for prestigious awards as both artist and DJ. Their bond continues to fuel their success, making waves in the industry and redefining what it means to be a powerhouse team.

Today, Milan approaches every DJ set with intention, describing herself as a Fairy Vibe Mother—a moniker that reflects her ability to transform any space with her energy and sets. Her artistry draws inspiration from icons like Beyoncé, DJ Mister Cee, Missy Elliott, and Fatman Scoop, and she channels their influence into her work ethic and creativity. She's earned the title of the Beyoncé of DJs thanks to her relentless work ethic, flawless execution, and unwavering dedication to her craft.

Working in radio has always been a dream for Miss Milan, who has become a recurring DJ and personality on Hot 97 and Sirius XM, not to mention being featured on Apple Music shows alongside Nadeska, Lowkey, Estelle, and Ebro, further solidifying her presence in the industry. Her work has been featured on Good Day America and in top publications like Vogue, Billboard, Essence, VIBE, Revolt, and Rolling Stone. Her insights, particularly on women in Hip Hop, are frequently quoted in Billboard, where she advocates for women and the LGBTQIA community through her platform GIRLGVNG Global.

Miss Milan is expanding her influence beyond DJing as an emerging music & entertainment mogul. She actively supports emerging artists through her platform, The Interlude RNB, which promotes new talent in the R&B genre. Further expressing her love for R&B, Milan has created a unique space through her event, Computer Love. Starting with residencies in Brooklyn, she plans to expand her vision to bring the experience to Atlanta and grow it into a traveling event celebrating R&B's rich history and future. With each residency, she curates an immersive experience, blending the soulful sounds of R&B with her distinctive energy and providing a platform for fans to connect through the music they love.

Offstage, Milan advocates for mental health — drawing from her experiences to inspire others through faith and engaging in wellness initiatives. She was honored with a New York State Assembly citation for her significant contributions to music and the community in her hometown.
